My deep rooted love for nature and being raised in a community that weaves and dyes their own fabric became a curiousity to learn more about textile and fashion. I believe its our responsibility to preserve our heritage and basic ethics of sustainable responsibility. This deep inspiration grew which became the reason I started Kiniho.

Diwon Umden Nongtluh village is where our production unit is based and im so thrilled to share with you that it has been declared as the first eri silk village in Meghalaya. I would like to convey my sincere thanks and congratulate to all our community weavers and especially to our elderly weavers who continuously practicing eri silk weaving for without them the craft was almost lost. My sincere thanks to our Seri & Handloom department and their officers for their support in reviving the craft.
