The Department of Textiles, in collaboration with NEHDCC, launched the digitalization of handloom products in the Umden Diwon Eri Silk village today, combining technology with tradition to ensure product traceability and authenticity. This initiative is driven by AI and involves embedding each weave and loom with QR codes, which will further enhance the reputation of the state's unique, organically produced, ethically sourced, and naturally dyed Ryndia weaves while enabling weavers to command premium prices for their products.
