The brand launch of Eri weave took place yesterday the 1st of March at Prime Start-up Hub, J N Stadium, Polo, Shillong.

The brand was launched by Shri. George B Lyngdoh MLA of Umroi Constituency in the presence of other dignitaries Shri.

Frederick R Kharkongor Commissioner & Secretary, Sericulture & Textiles Department, Shri. G.H.P Raju Principal Secretary, Cooperation & Animal Husbandry Veterinary Department, Shri. Jagdish Chelani Director Meghalaya Institute of Entrepreneurship, Special Guest, Shri. K.N Kumar, Chairman, Farmer's Welfare Commission along with others invitees and weavers.

Eri weave, started by Kong Iaishah Rymbai focuses on promoting hand spun eri by blending art and style with the brand tagline 'Eri Weave – Hand-Woven Silk by Women of Meghalaya'.
