Exploring Traditional Hajong Attires: The Kompes Fabric

Traditional Hajong attires are woven on traditional looms namely the Salbana and Sipnibana, whereas now in modern times the tatbana is utilised.

Todays post is on the Kompes, a rich fabric woven with a raised pattern, used as a belt and also as a

scarf during winter.
