Implemented in collaboration with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), the Design, Innovation & Resource Centre (DIRC) will act as a medium for weavers to innovate, record and share information on new techniques and processes.

Curated to safeguard and preserve traditional knowledge of the weavers of Umden, Diwon the centre comprises of various sections for displaying traditional motifs, fabric, patterns, weaving, natural dyeing and so on.

The centre also includes a product Showcasing section that will act as a sales point for weavers of Unden, Diwon to display various woven products of Eri Silk.
