A Two-Day Exhibition & Buyers–Sellers Meet

Looms & Links 2026 is an exclusive handloom exhibition and structured Buyers–Sellers Meet designed to connect weavers, producer groups, designers, wholesalers, retailers, and institutional buyers.

The event creates a direct marketplace for handcrafted textiles from Ri Bhoi District and neighbouring communities — strengthening market access, trade partnerships, and long-term commercial linkages.

The Exhibition – “Where Heritage Meets Horizon”

An immersive showcase of:

  • Handwoven fabrics and value-added textile products

  • Natural dyeing and sustainable weaving innovations

  • Craft clusters supported under development schemes

  • The rich weaving traditions of Khasi, Jaintia, and Garo communities

This exhibition highlights both cultural legacy and contemporary design possibilities.

Buyers–Sellers Meet – “Where Threads Meet Trade”

A structured B2B interface platform enabling:

  • Direct sourcing conversations

  • Order negotiations

  • Institutional procurement discussions

  • Supply chain partnerships

  • Long-term commercial collaborations

The meet moves beyond display — turning craft into sustainable commerce.
