Meet Malbarin Marak, a resident of Nokil Awe, Williamnagar, East Garo Hills, a master weaver with an experience of 17 years of weaving Dakmanda.

She started her journey of weaving with cotton and acrylic yarn and then with Eri silk after attending the Refined Weaving Training for weaving with Eri silk.

The training has helped increase her income and now she works with five other weavers from her village to fulfil orders.
