Meet Nothira Marak, a resident of Nokil A.we, Williamnagar who learned the art of weaving from her mother.

Intrigued by her mother’s weaving skill, she too caught on the skill of weaving on her own and started weaving traditional wraparound (Dakmanda) on a loin loom at a very age.

After participating in many training programs and attaining new skills, Nothira Marak now imparts her learned knowledge to weavers who want to learn the art of weaving on a loin loom.
