How are Shades and Colour Fastness are Achieved

Dark chocolate shade with good colour fastness is achieved with only pre-mordanting with snep sohmylleng.
Magenta, pink and olive green shades require pre-mordanting with sohkhu leaves, followed by lac and onion peel dyeing.
To fix colours of black and dark chocolate shades using iron ore and tea leaves, post-treatment with alkaline ash water is very
effective.
Similarly, post-treatment with acidic lemon water works best to fix olive green shades
