Under the leadership of the Department of Textiles, Meghalaya, and with support from NABARD, the Meghalaya Ryndia Producers Association has secured Geographical Indication (GI) tags for two textile traditions:
Meghalaya Ryndia Textile – GI Tag No. 1112 Certified for: Ryndia yarns, textiles, fabrics & clothing (Classes 23, 24, 25 & 26)

Meghalaya Khasi Handloom Products – GI Tag No. 1113 Certified for: Textiles, fabrics, clothing & goods (Classes 24, 25 & 26)
