Mulberry Silk: Produced by Domesticated Bombyx Mori Silkworms Fed Exclusively on White Mulberry Leaves

Mulberry silk is made from silkworms called Bombyx mori. These silkworms are domesticated and fed only on the leaves of the white mulberry plant resulting in them producing white or off-white color silk.
