The Nongtluh Women Weaving Cooperative Society provides a haven for sericulture and weaving to thrive for the women of Umden Diwon by providing them with a platform to make an earning using their weaving and natural dyeing skills.
The co-operative is also particularly known for its fabric made of hand-spun Eri Silk, which is difficult to spin by hand.
