Glimpses from the three-day North East India Festival (NEIF) launched on 27 October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The Department of Textiles, Government of Meghalaya, showcases its rich tribal weaves and textile traditions through its two prominent textile designers and entrepreneurs, Iba Mallai and Daisy Momin. They highlight Garo, Khasi, Jaintia, and Bhoi eco-friendly textiles that are ethically sourced, organically produced, naturally dyed, and driven by women. These presentations are made by the Commissioner and Secretary of Textiles at the B2B business meetings, through exhibitions at the dedicated textile zone, and fashion displays by Vietnamese models in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from October 27th to 29th, 2023.
