Reeling Mulberry Silk: Worker at Sericulture Office, Lawsohtun Using Tepid Water and Multi-End Reeling Machine for Superior Grade Silk

A worker at Sericulture Office, Lawsohtun, Laban reeling mulberry silk cocoon from a reeling basin containing tepid water. A number of cocoons are transferred to this basin to make it easier to find the true end of the cocoon for reeling. The cocoons are then reeled using a multi-end reeling machine to produce superior grade raw silk.
