Ryndia Tlem: Embroidered Stoles Featuring Traditional Khasi Symbols

The Ryndia Tlem with embroidery work representing traditional symbols of the shield (ka stieh), the bow (ka ryntieh), arrows (ki khnam), the rooster (u 'iar ryngkuh), monoliths (ki mawbynna), and musical instruments, the duitara and the ksing.

These traditional elements symbolise the warrior spirit, the religion, and the closeness to music of the Khasi tribe.

Often inscribed on important things these symbols are of great significance and importance to the Khasi people.

Designed by Batliakor Laitthma, these Rynda stoles are designed for men.
