Silk Throwing: Twisting Mulberry Silk Fibres for Strength and Versatility in Weaving, Knitting, and More

Mulberry silk fibre is twisted with a process known as silk throwing where one or more threads of raw silk are twisted into a strand to make it sufficiently strong and thick for weaving and knitting. Mulberry silk is used for weaving, knitting, needle works, music instrument strings and many more.
