The First Lady Smt. Neelam Sinha along with Smt Isawanda Laloo IAS, Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills District, visited Nela Handloom Training Centre Cum Production Unit Shillong Mawkasiang, Umroh.

The centre is run by James Evantis Dkhar a local Textile entrepreneur, who has pioneered weaving with Flying 8 Loom.
