Some weavers also say that some of the patterns signify the linage of the ‘Raid’or the tribe, some patterns signify “Ka Mahadei” or the Queen, “U Syiem” or the King, “U Mintry” or the Minister.

However, there are no written records about the exact nature of the patters’ representation.
