Traditional Dance: Whisking Yak's Hair to the Beats of Drums and Tangmuri

Men perform this dance by whisking the Yak's hair to the beats of the drums and the Tangmuri.

It is known that this tradition came into existence because of an ancient trade route from Dhaka to Tibet that went through the Khasi hills although this story is yet to be confirmed.
